5 more hours to go.....
Hello, my name is chi-yan en-gi.
In 5 hours time it will be the time when I turn into a 'burung tua' (in Malay)/'lau chiau' (in Hokkien)/ '老雀' (in chinese)/ 'Old bird' (in english).
These little people (ie people who are 20 or people who are turning 22 calling themselves 'Old tweety bird' coz I called myself an old bird - ha ha very funny... cheeky!) say that: 'Oh, when you get to 25 is it the time when you look back to what you have done in the last 25 years of your life?'
Well, I guess I could try to look back and see if there's anything behind me other than dog poos.
Academically/work-wise, I haven't wasted any time i guess... well I have but that's because I am not as bright as normal medics who can get in after alevels. But I wasn't unemployed...and got some degrees...
Socially, I think I could have done better - ie a personality change would be good, as well as getting that charisma training mirror from the sims......I'm just not trained to be funny or quick witted. I am glad about the fact that however shite I am at socialising I still have a handful of good friends...who can get over my 'fuck off and die' face.... but that could be the fact that they have a 'fuck off and die' face too...
so...what else have a achieved? erm.... a handful of broken relationships which left me with still quite a fragmented heart. How am I suppose to love again and be loved like this? Well, the answer is I can't... well and truely messed up in that thing in my skull...I just want my heart back in one happy piece so I can get on with my life.
Just thought of the song whole again so wanted to post it - and guess what? For us kareoke mad boys and girls, this version has kareoke words where you can sing along~~!! Don't be shy! (sorry, the first one on the search...ppl obviously enjoy this very much)

Can I say that apparently you’re in medical school still achieving your goals, where others would have given up? Probably in a better position than all the 18 yr olds who lets face it you wouldn't trust to resus Annie let alone a real person.
You may have a handful of friends but they're honest and won't stab you in the back. And will kick ass one by one to make sure that you are still standing. Who like your wit and would support you as a social butterfly (i'll even do salsa) but don't sell out and be an air-headed social whore (fake)... there's only so much one can take
As for the broken hearts... think of the trail of guys you've trampled over - you're not jumping off any building you're still functioning living and breathing this isn't platitude this is fact - they can't hold you down forever. No seriously they heal, and next time though you’ll be more cautious you'll love harder. I know words are not the same but don't substitute blissful ignorance for real love. You are worth the wait just believe it!!
Remember I told Bernie and I tell myself and now I’m telling you ‘tabula rasa’ love will come when you’re ready.
